Sam Faiers, of the The Only Way Is Essex, launched her new TV show The Baby Diaries on Sunday night. But according to Twitter, no one was paying much attention to her – instead they were focused on her boyfriend and the father of their newborn son, Paul Knightley.

What had Paul done to warrant such attention?  Had he dropped the baby? Was he not doing his fair share of nappy changes?

No, he kissed his mother.

Like a documentary I’ve seen (was it Louis Theroux?) which looks at women who got pregnant by chance when they lost their virginity, I happened to find ‘The One’ when I first ventured into dating. In fact, you could say I missed the dating boat altogether as when I met my now fiancé I was 14 and he was 16 and our idea of a date was being dropped off by our respective parents in town to go see a movie at the local cinema and giving three rings to my mum’s mobile as a sign that it was time to come and pick me up please. I was out of the dating game before I even got started, and having to kiss (or shag) a few frogs before you meet your prince? What it’s really like to buy a house in your 20s

So I’m 24 years old and along with my fiancé, Aaron, we have just bought our first home. As first-time buyers we’re really quite excited about the whole thing, especially as it seems like nothing but doom and gloom for our millennial generation with a lifetime of renting ahead of us. But we made it, hurrah!
